Rev. Ernest C. Walton, B.A., M.A., B. Th.

The Reverend Ernest C. Walton was a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He attended the public schools of Norfolk, Virginia. He was a graduate of Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia, and Columbia University, New York City and held a Bachelor of Art Degree, a Masters of Art Degree, and a Bachelor of Theology degree. He had also studied at Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia, and Butler University, Indiana.

Reverend Walton had served as a teacher for a period of time.Among the pastorates he has served are: Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Virginia, First Baptist Church, Hill Street, Chesapeake, Virginia. He served for over twenty five years as pastor of Enoch Baptist Church, Norfolk, VA, which he founded.

 Reverend Walton is a member and former secretary of the Tidewater Metro Baptist Ministries Conference; a member of the Baptist General Convention; a member of the Hampton University Ministers Conference, and other civic and religious groups.
